Position Overview:
Walter’s303, a vibrant and bustling pizzeria located in the heart of historic Lowry Denver, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager and the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant on a daily basis. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assist the GM in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff management, and customer service. 
  • Collaborate with the KM to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. 
  • Train, motivate, and supervise staff, ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Manager inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet operational requirements. 
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, such as sales and labor costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability. 
  • Handle customer inquires, concerns and complaints in a professional manner, starving to provide exceptional service at all times.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to drive sales and increastt brand awareness within the local community. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, ad hearing to health and safety regulations at all times. 
  • Must be able to multitask and equally work in the BOH and FOH when needed. 

Qualifications: 
  • Previous experiences in a managerial role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both customers and staff from all backgrounds.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiently in Microsoft Office and restaurant software (e.g Toast POS, Restaurant365)
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.



Education: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to lift over 30 lbs without assistance. 
  • A working knowledge or some working experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. 

Salary:  
The AGM position starts at $55,000+ depending on experience and qualifications. Salary may vary depending on factors such as industry experience, additional certifications, and performance quarterly bonuses. As well we have a full benefits package with United Healthcare that includes dental, vision, and health. Manager perks include free food while working and 50% off all drinks and food at all restaurants. 
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
