Job Summary

Walter’s303 is accepting applications for an experienced, customer service-oriented Server to join our team! The ideal candidate is an organized multitasker with the desire to provide exceptional customer service to all guests. Duties include communicating daily specials, taking orders and accurately inputting orders in the POS system, serving food and beverages to guests by using suggestive selling techniques and ensuring every guest enjoys the service they expect.

Responsibilities

  • Have or acquire extensive knowledge of craft beer, wine and spirits
  • Use knowledge of our menus including food, craft beer, wine, spirits in suggestive selling techniques
  • Ability to learn and use POS system
  • Ability to understand and communicate special orders to the bartender and kitchen staff
  • Restock station before, during and after shift
  • Be present and observe guests in order to respond to additional requests
  • Total, present and accept payment for bill
  • Clear and reset tables
Qualifications

  • Ability to taste and sample all beverages in order to make knowledgeable suggestions
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift and climb stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Willingness to perform cleaning duties as needed
